Central and Westminster squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Central had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Wildcats. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Central lost, don't look at Julianna Johnston. Despite the final result, she had 21 digs and three assists. Johnston is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Collier, who had ten digs and three assists.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westminster to victory, but perhaps none more so than Munday Tyrone, who had 19 assists and six digs. Another player making a difference was Sisi Wilson, who had nine digs and two aces.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 35-10. As for Westminster, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-10 record this season.

Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westminster, they will host Allatoona at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
