Hubbertville had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Addison Bulldogs on Friday as the Hubbertville Lions made off with a 52-29 victory. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Hubbertville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Georgia Gardner led the charge by going 7 for 11 on her way to 15 points and three steals. Gardner is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 13 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Kate Curington, who made all 5 shots she took to post 14 points.

Hubbertville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.1 points over those games. As for Addison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-18.

As of now, neither Hubbertville nor Addison have any future games scheduled.
