Recap: Parkside Eagles vs. Bell Griffins

In what's become a running theme this season, the Parkside Eagles gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 83-36 victory over Bell at home. Winning may never get old, but Parkside sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Parkside was led to victory by Kasson James and Semaj Marshall. James scored 19 points, while Marshall scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Anthony Kelly, who scored 11 points.

Parkside's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Bell, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Parkside will look to defend their home court on Monday against KIPP College Prep at 6:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in District of Columbia (KIPP College Prep is ranked 20th, while Parkside is ranked 16th). Bell's road trip will continue as they head out to face School Without Walls at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th.
