Mallard Creek is a perfect 10-0 against West Charlotte since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. Meanwhile, West Charlotte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against North Mecklenburg, falling 5-0.

Mallard Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for West Charlotte, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15-3.

Everything went Mallard Creek's way against West Charlotte when the teams last played back in September, as Mallard Creek made off with a 4-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mavericks since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
