With a playoff game on the line, Jay County rose to the challenge on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bellmont Braves 42-7. Considering the Patriots have won three contests by more than 34 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Jay County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sean Bailey led the charge by rushing for 93 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 111 yards on seven of 11 attempts. Another back making a difference was Leighton Brown, who rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
