Recap: Arapahoe Warriors vs. Blue Hill Bobcats
There's no place like home for the Arapahoe Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Thursday. They snuck past Blue Hill with a 50-46 victory on Friday. This was payback for Arapahoe, who suffered a 53-29 loss the last time these two teams met.
Arapahoe's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Berkley Warner led the charge by scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Warner is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Clara Hilker, who scored 12 points.
The win got Arapahoe back to even at 5-5. As for Blue Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
Arapahoe and Maxwell will face off at 3:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Maxwell focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 last Tuesday. As for Blue Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Silver Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
