Football Recap: Newsome Wolves vs. Plant City Raiders
Newsome lost against Plant City back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolves were dealt a 34-6 defeat at the hands of the Raiders. The game marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Newsome didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Isaac McCay and Jeremy Tolliver Jr. McCay also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with seven.
Plant City was led to victory by Maurian Hugee and Adam Robinson. Hugee rushed for 76 yards and one TD, while Robinson picked up 154 receiving yards. Robinson showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 55 yards.
Newsome's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Plant City, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3.
