Baseball Recap: West Limestone Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for West Limestone's offense. They lost 10-0 to the St. John Paul II Falcons on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-2 on Tuesday.

West Limestone dropped their record down to 12-15 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for St. John Paul II, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

West Limestone will take on Westminster Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. John Paul II, they will face off against Lawrence County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Red Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.7 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
