Basketball Recap: Luke Bender's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mifflin County over Milton Hershey + How To Watch

Mifflin County lost against Milton Hershey back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Huskies fell 61-53 to the Spartans. The loss was the Huskies' first of the season.

Mifflin County's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Bender, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 12 points along with five assists and three steals. Bender has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 63% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was Bryce Hartsock, who shot 75% from the field en route to 14 points and five rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mifflin County fell to 3-1. As for Milton Hershey, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Mifflin County and Milton Hershey will both be playing Red Land the next time they take the court. The Huskies will host the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Spartans will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
