Volleyball Recap: Cypress Christian Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Cypress Christian had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Seminole Ridge Hawks on Friday.

CONNIE QUAGLIA paced Cypress Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. QUAGLIA got some help from LILAH JOHNSON and her 17 assists. JOHNSON was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Cypress Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Seminole Ridge, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Cypress Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Dwyer on the 30th. As for Seminole Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Elizabethtown on the 29th.
