Softball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington suffered their biggest defeat since March 27th on Thursday. They came up short against the Louisville Leopards, falling 15-5. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Leopards from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Louisville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-10-1.

Coming up, Washington will venture away from home to face off against Alliance at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers are facing the Aviators at the right time seeing as the Aviators are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Louisville has already played their next matchup (against West Branch), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
