Football Recap: Lutheran Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Lutheran's offense. They were outmatched by the Jefferson City Jays and fell 42-0. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Jays are ranked 122nd).

Lutheran's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Jefferson City, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5.

As of now, neither Lutheran nor the Jays have any future games scheduled.
