Basketball Recap: Landen Fewel Key Part of a Team Effort in Bison Win

Oklahoma School for the Deaf won the last time they faced Kansas School for the Deaf and things went their way on Friday too. The Oklahoma School for the Deaf Bison came out on top against the Kansas School for the Deaf Jackrabbits by a score of 53-42. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bison.

Oklahoma School for the Deaf's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landen Fewel, who went 7 of 15 en route to 18 points along with six boards and five assists. Fewel continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Justin Kale, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 13 points and three steals.

Oklahoma School for the Deaf's victory bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Kansas School for the Deaf, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
