Recap: Canyon View Falcons vs. Juab Wasps
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Canyon View Falcons had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 49-38 victory over the Wasps. The victory was just what Canyon View needed coming off of a 44-23 defeat in their prior match.
Maylee Spencer continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and five assists. She hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. Another player making a difference was Kamryn Brush, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Canyon View's win bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Juab, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-11.
Canyon View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 59-46 victory vs. Summit Academy on the 24th. Juab does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
