Michigan Lutheran has gone a perfect 10-0 against Our Lady of the Lake Catholic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Titans are taking a road trip to take on the Lakers at 4:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
On Friday, Michigan Lutheran got the win against River Valley by a conclusive 16-1.

Khannor Hamilton made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Ty Johnson was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs. He has become a key player for Michigan Lutheran: the team is 7-3 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Colton Stegman, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double.
Michigan Lutheran was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .542. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in 12 consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, while Our Lady of the Lake Catholic put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Eau Claire. The Lakers were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Beavers. The result was nothing new for the Lakers, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.
Like Michigan Lutheran, Our Lady of the Lake Catholic also got a great game from a two-way player: Bradyn Harper. He struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Harper has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
In other batting news, Our Lady of the Lake Catholic got a massive performance out of Dylan Sargent, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that Sargent has hit this season. Evan Watts was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Michigan Lutheran is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Our Lady of the Lake Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-12.
Our Lady of the Lake Catholic's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Michigan Lutheran hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .363. It's a different story for Our Lady of the Lake Catholic, though, as they've only averaged .254. Will they be able to contain Michigan Lutheran's hitters?
Michigan Lutheran took their win against Our Lady of the Lake Catholic when the teams last played last Tuesday by a conclusive 16-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
