Baseball Recap: Hammond Morton's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Hammond Morton can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the South Bend Washington Panthers 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Governors: when they faced off against the Panthers on Saturday, they had to take a 4-1 defeat.

Devin Singh tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over 6.1 innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024.
