Soccer Recap: Mexico Takes a Loss

Mexico came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Hannibal Pirates, falling 8-0. Mexico have struggled against Hannibal recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Mexico's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Hannibal, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mexico will challenge Moberly at 6:40 p.m. on Monday. As for Hannibal, they will face off against West Plains at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
