Basketball Recap: Bishop Ward Takes a Loss

Bishop Ward was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 66-23 loss at the hands of the Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy Ravens. That's two games in a row now that the Cyclones have lost by exactly 43 points.

Bishop Ward's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Ward will take on Hogan Prep Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy, they will square off against Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] on Tuesday. Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
