Softball Recap: Philadelphia High School for Girls Takes a Loss

Philadelphia High School for Girls was the 17-7 winner over Parkway West when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The GAZELLE took a 16-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the HOYAS on Monday.

Philadelphia High School for Girls' loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Parkway West, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Philadelphia High School for Girls is set to square off against their familiar foe Franklin Learning Center at 3:15 p.m. on the 30th. Meanwhile, Parkway West will face off against rival Frankford at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
