Top 2020 prospect Evan Mobley comes up big in battle against top senior James Wiseman.

In a back-and-forth affair that didn't lack for highlights, No. 13 Rancho Christian (Temecula, Calif.) took down Memphis East (Memphis, Tenn.) 66-56 in a Friday night showdown broadcast by ESPN2.

The interstate showdown featured an intriguing battle between No. 1 Class of 2019 prospect James Wiseman and No. 1 Class of 2020 prospect Evan Mobley, both centers in the 7-foot range.

Mobley finished with 13 points – including six straight during a crucial stretch late in the fourth quarter – and three blocked shots. But his impact went well beyond the box score as he served as a deterrent at the rim and showed an ability to handle and pass the ball like few players his size can.

The Southern California star also held Wiseman to 17 points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots, forcing the future Memphis Tiger into tough shots.

Fellow senior Memphis-bound big man Malcolm Dandridge chipped in 19 points and five rebounds in the loss for Memphis East (9-4).

The top performer for Rancho Christian (15-1) offensively was Class of 2020 Gonzaga pledge Dominick Harris, who finished with 27 points on the night to lead all scorers. Mobley's older brother Isaiah Mobley, a USC signee and fellow elite prospect, added 15 points.
Evan Mobley and Rancho Christian have now knocked off teams from six different states this season with Friday's night's victory over Memphis East.
