            Baseball Recap: Rochester Rams vs. Carlynton Cougars        
        
		
        
        
            Rochester extended their winning streak  to three  on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 8-7 in the process. They came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  a   15-14 W against the Carlynton Cougars. With that  win, the Rams brought their scoring average up to 6.3  runs per game.

 Jensen Seybert was a standout: he got on base  in five of his six plate appearances with three  stolen bases and three  runs. Those  three  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Braeden Siget, who  got on base  in four of his six plate appearances with five  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Rochester  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  hit total in four consecutive  matchups.
As for Carlynton,  they are  on  a  15-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-18. On the bright side, the 14- run  performance marked their highest-scoring  game to date.
 On Carlynton's side,  Connor Hart was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 3-for-6 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Isaac Anker, who  went 1-for-5 with three  runs and one  RBI.
 Rochester does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carlynton, they will take on Springdale at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday.
