Fort Bend Travis's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Fort Bend Elkins Knights as they made off with a 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Fort Bend Travis is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Fort Bend Elkins, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.
