Basketball Recap: Belfry Comes Up Short

Belfry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 45-26 bruising from the Pike County Central Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-43 last Monday.

Belfry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Pike County Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-12 record this season.

Belfry has already played their next contest (against Mingo Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Pike County Central, they have already played their next game, a 71-46 loss against East Carter on the 15th.
