Baseball Recap: Harrah Find Success

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Harrah ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lindsay Leopards, sneaking past 10-9. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Tucker MCguire was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bryson Clifford, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs.

Harrah's victory bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Lindsay, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrah will venture away from home to square off against Tecumseh at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lindsay, they will head out to challenge Lexington at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Leopards' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
