Basketball Recap: James Island Falls Short of Ridge View in the Playoffs

James Island and Ridge View squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but James Island had to settle for second. They came up short against the Ridge View Blazers, falling 63-43. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 60-37 to the Trojans when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The loss snapped James Island's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 19-9 record. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for Ridge View, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.
