Basketball Recap: Parma Panthers vs. Marsing Huskies

Parma was the 56-55 winner over Marsing when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Parma Panthers took a 73-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marsing Huskies on Saturday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Juan Ponce was his usual excellent self, putting up 34 points along with five assists and five rebounds for Marsing. The contest was Ponce's third in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Mason Conger, who went 7-for-11 en route to 16 points and six boards.

Parma now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Marsing, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.

Parma does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marsing, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-52 victory against Nampa Christian on the 25th.
