Volleyball Recap: Eden Wegis Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Mission College Prep

Frontier extended their postseason success on Thursday against Mission College Prep. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Royals. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

The victory didn't come easy: Mission College Prep scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-22, 15-25, 25-18.

Frontier's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eden Wegis, who had nine digs and three aces. Laykinn Cash was another key player, getting seven digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Frontier was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Frontier's win bumped their record up to 19-15. As for Mission College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 27-9.

Coming up, Frontier will head out on the road to square off against Central Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mission College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
