Volleyball Recap: Troy-Buchanan Takes a Loss

Troy-Buchanan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars. The Trojans were not able to make up for their loss to the Jaguars from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

While Troy-Buchanan was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-16, 25-19.

Troy-Buchanan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Fort Zumwalt West, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Troy-Buchanan is set to square off against their familiar foe Timberland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Fort Zumwalt West will challenge rival Howell North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
