Basketball Recap: Shenandoah Takes a Loss

Shenandoah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 55-37 bruising from the Underwood Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 72-37 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.

Shenandoah's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Underwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shenandoah and Essex will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for Underwood, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
