Softball Recap: Oran Takes a Loss

Oran lost against Woodland back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 11-10.

Oran's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Woodland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oran will head out to square off against East Prairie at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodland, they will venture away from home to challenge Malden at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Green Wave have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
