Basketball Game Preview: Riverton Silverwolves vs. Taylorsville Warriors + Official Tickets

The Riverton Silverwolves will square off against the Taylorsville Warriors at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Taylorsville took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Riverton, who comes in off a win.

Riverton took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Woods Cross by a score of 49-38.

Maggie Hamblin had an outrageously good game as she dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards. She has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Gabby Murdock, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Taylorsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 63-20 loss at the hands of Olympus. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-16.

The win got Riverton back to even at 1-1. As for Taylorsville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything went Riverton's way against Taylorsville when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Riverton made off with a 57-37 victory. Will the Silverwolves repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
