Fort Thomas has gone a perfect 10-0 against Superior recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Apaches will be home for the holidays to greet the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Fort Thomas' tournament run continued when they took on San Carlos on Friday. The Apaches sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-54 victory over the Braves.

Meanwhile, Superior was able to grind out a solid win over San Manuel on Wednesday, taking the game 32-24.

Superior found their leader in freshman Noelle Duarte, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 14 boards. That makes it six consecutive games in which Duarte has scored at least a third of the Panthers' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Stephanie Lopez, who posted seven points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Fort Thomas' victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Superior, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Fort Thomas against Superior when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 69-10 victory. In that game, the Apaches amassed a halftime lead of 49-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
