Soccer Recap: Little Elm Takes a Loss

Little Elm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Marcus Marauders. While losing is never fun, the Lobos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Marauders are ranked 14th).

Little Elm's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12-1. As for Marcus, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-3 record this season.

Little Elm will take on Lewisville at 7:00 p.m. on March 17th. Marcus will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Coppell at 7:30 p.m. on March 17th. Coppell is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.
