The Upper Merion Area Vikings will head out to challenge the Owen J. Roberts Wildcats at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Upper Merion Area is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Upper Merion Area is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Pottsgrove on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Upper Merion Area was outmatched by Pottsgrove and fell 79-41. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 617th, while the Falcons are ranked 108th).

Meanwhile, Owen J. Roberts beat Coventry Christian 56-49 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Upper Merion Area's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Owen J. Roberts, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.
