Elkhorn has gone a perfect 3-0 against South Sioux City recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Antlers will take on the Cardinals in a tournament on Saturday. Elkhorn's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Elkhorn took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Norris, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Antlers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Titans on Thursday. Elkhorn wouldn't have won without Olivia Thompson, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, South Sioux City fell victim to Mercy and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 8-0 to the Monarchs. The defeat continues a trend for South Sioux City in their meetings with Mercy: they've now lost seven in a row.

Elkhorn's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for South Sioux City, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Elkhorn took their victory against South Sioux City when the teams last played back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Antlers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
