Huron has gone a perfect 10-0 against Willard recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Tigers will look to defend their home field against the Crimson Flashes at 4:45 p.m. Huron is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

On Saturday, Huron was able to grind out a solid win over Columbian, taking the game 7-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Madison Holeman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits.

At the plate, Adelyn VanSickle was excellent, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Reece Hotz, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Willard got the win against St. Joseph Central Catholic on Friday by a conclusive 27-14. The result was nothing new for the Crimson Flashes, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Willard's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Huron, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.

Huron beat Willard 8-5 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Crimson Flashes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
