Basketball Game Preview: Western Christian Wolfpack vs. Spirit Lake Indians

The Western Christian Wolfpack will face off against the Spirit Lake Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Western Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Thursday, Western Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 63-57 to Le Mars. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Spirit Lake came up short against Estherville Lincoln Central on Friday and fell 54-41. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Midgets are ranked tenth).

This is the second loss in a row for Spirit Lake and nudges their season record down to 13-8. As for Western Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-14.
