It was a good run, but Vista Grande unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Augustine Saints. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Spartans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Vista Grande saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angel Rendon, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Vista Grande's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-1. As for St. Augustine, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.
