Baseball Recap: Neosho Beats Springdale for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Neosho waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by an 18-7 margin over the Springdale Bulldogs. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.

Liam McInturff made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. McInturff was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with three RBI.

In other batting news, Kanten Smith was a standout: he got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and one triple. Jaden Nichols was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
