Baseball Recap: Lodi Takes a Loss

Lodi has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging three runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They lost 12-2 to the Lincoln Trojans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Flames have suffered since April 5, 2024.

Lodi saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Whiting, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Lodi and nudges their season record down to 6-3. As for Lincoln, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5.

While Lodi had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
