Football Game Preview: Brunswick Railroaders vs. South Carroll Cavaliers + Official Tickets

The Brunswick Railroaders will take on the South Carroll Cavaliers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Brunswick has given up an average of 35 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Brunswick is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Middletown on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Railroaders were dealt a 42-7 defeat at the hands of the Knights. The Railroaders haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for South Carroll, as they earned their first away win of the season. They walked away with a 21-14 victory over Manchester Valley on Friday. The Cavaliers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for South Carroll, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Brunswick strolled past South Carroll when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 21-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Railroaders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
