            For the second straight game, Anahuac will face off against Hardin. Anahuac will head out to  challenge Hardin  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Anahuac hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the  team is eager to reverse.
Anahuac might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  6-2 to Hardin, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
Anahuac got a good showing from  Garrett Cornelius, who   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Cornelius has been consistent : he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Anahuac saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Oscar Garza, who  went 2-for-3 with one  RBI. That's the most  hits  Garza has posted since back in February.  Braedon Edmonds also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
 The  victory made it two in a row for Hardin and  bumps their season record up to 10-6-1. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4  runs in those games. As for Anahuac, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12-1.
