Basketball Recap: Cynara Easley's Big Game Can't Quite Lead St. Paul Central over West Lutheran

On Friday, the St. Paul Central Minutemen came up short against the West Lutheran Warriors and fell 53-40. The Minutemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Paul Central's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cynara Easley, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Elizabeth Adedigba, who scored 11 points.

St. Paul Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for West Lutheran, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 21-7.

Coming up, St. Paul Central will head out to face off against Stillwater at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
