Softball Recap: Greeley Comes Up Short

Greeley extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 12 on Saturday, dropping them down to 0-11. They came up short against the Mahopac Indians, falling 16-4. The Quakers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Indians from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

As for Mahopac, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-7. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

For Mahopac's part, Alenah Gomes was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most runs Gomes has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Camdyn Wilson, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, one double, and one RBI.

As of now, neither Greeley nor Mahopac have any future games scheduled.
