Something new happened on Monday as Hardwick saw his first action of the season, playing ten minutes against Denmark-Olar. Hardwick made the most of the opportunity, scoring three goals and two assists. A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Meanwhile, Swansea unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brookland-Cayce. Swansea was red-hot offensively headed into the contest (they scored no less than four goals in the three matches prior) but Brookland-Cayce's defense proved too tough.

Gilbert's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Swansea, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-5.
