Soccer Recap: Rubidoux Takes a Loss

Rubidoux lost against Patriot on January 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rubidoux Falcons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriot Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 971st, while the Warriors are ranked 356th).

Rubidoux has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12-1 record this season. As for Patriot, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7-4.

Rubidoux will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Norte Vista at 3:30 p.m. Norte Vista will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Rubidoux surely won't give up without a fight. Patriot has already played their next game (against La Sierra), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
