Basketball Recap: Remington Skates Past Marion with Ease

A well-balanced attack led Remington over Marion in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Remington Broncos blew the Marion Warriors out of the water with a 49-14 final score. With the Broncos ahead 30-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Marion's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kenna Wesner, who posted five points, and Dylan Kraus, who had no points.

The win (which was Remington's fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-3-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Marion, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5.

Remington is taking a road trip to take on Inman on Friday. Inman will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Remington surely won't give up without a fight. As for Marion, they will be playing at home against Moundridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Moundridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.6 points per game this season.
