Malvern posted their closest victory since October 8, 2024 on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Magnolia Panthers 3-2. The Leopards haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The victory got Malvern back to even at 4-4. As for Magnolia, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Malvern will head out to take on Waldron at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Leopards are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Magnolia, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lonoke at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
