Football Recap: Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Valley fought the good fight in their overtime game against Glenns Ferry on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 26-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pilots. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Despite the loss, Valley still got an impressive performance from Brandt Jones, who rushed for 101 yards and one touchdown.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Glenns Ferry, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Castleford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will be up against the Wolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.8 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Glenns Ferry, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hagerman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Pilots surely won't give up without a fight.
