Dow posted their closest win since May 17, 2025 on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Garber Dukes 6-5. That's more bragging rights for the Chargers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Dow's win bumped their record up to 2-7-1. As for Garber, they moved to 15-6 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dow will host Beal City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Aggies will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Garber, they will welcome Pinconning at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dukes' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season.
